"Westwood exists to invest in people who will impact their world for Jesus."

Jesus' final charge to His followers was to go into the world and make disciples of all nations. This Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15; Acts 1:8) is to be the driving force of the church until Christ's return. Westwood seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by following the example of Jesus, who invested in people and commissioned them into the world to make an impact for His glory.

As a church, Westwood is about investing in people and equipping them to carry out the Great Commission. We desire to see people love Jesus passionately and follow Him in obedience daily. As a result, they will begin investing in others and impacting their world for Jesus.

"Go and make disciples" is the call to go and impact your world. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a business leader, a college student, or a retiree, you have been called by God to invest in others and impact our world for Jesus. The gospel compels us to leverage all that we have to see the nations and our neighbors become followers of Jesus.
