If you are interested in becoming an English as a Second Language Volunteer or teacher you are need to attend the ESL Training Certificate Class on August 8-9, 2025. The registration fee for this class is $25 and includes dinner, lunch, and your training materials. This class lays the foundation for understanding what ESL ministry is and how best to help ESL students. 
You do not have to be certified to help with ESL but you do need to be certified to teach. 

Volunteer Opportunities:
Facilitators, Assistant Facilitators, General Volunteer/Helper, or Childcare. Click HERE to volunteer.

Westwood Baptist Church offers weekly adult English classes. Classes are free and textbooks cost only $30. These classes and activities are a great opportunity to practice English in a relaxed environment. Classes may contain Christian content.

Westwood Baptist Church ofrece clases gratuitas semanales de inglés para adultos. Solo deberá pagar por sus libros de texto que cuestan $30 dólares. Estas clases y actividades son una gran oportunidad para practicar inglés en un ambiente relejado y con profesores nativos. Las clases al ser dadas en la iglesia pueden tener contenido cristaniano.
