Churchwide Game Night | July 15 | 6:15PM-7:30PM
We will have a churchwide game night on Wednesday, July 15, hosted by the Student Ministry. The game is Price is Right!  Make your plans to come for a fun night of fellowship. There will be childcare for kids 6 wks-3^rd grade with reservations by email to [email protected].

Kids Discover Class | July 15 | 4:30PM | Room 201
Kids Discover Class is for kids that have been asking questions about baptism and what it means to be a Christian. You do not need to register for this class, but we do ask that at least one parent attend the class with their child.

Caring Hearts Widows Groups | Cooking Demo & Lunch | July 18
All widows are invited to the home of Amy Hallford (537 Riverwoods Ldg., Helena, AL) for a cooking demo and lunch, on July 18, 10AM-12PM. Carpool will be available by reservation at 9:30AM. Please RSVP by calling Susan Rudd at 205-960-1602 or Wendy in the church office at 205-664-0122.

Westwood Night at the Barons | July 19 | 2:05PM | Last Chance for Tickets!!!
Westwood has purchased a limited supply of tickets to see the Birmingham Barons on Sunday, July 19.  Tickets cost $10 each and can be purchased at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings or at the Church Office during the week. 

Colson Fellows Worldview Training | Registration is Open | Program starts August 1
Westwood has teamed up with The Colson Fellows to offer members a carefully curated curriculum that will help you understand and identify worldviews and how they manifest in today’s ideas, philosophies, policies, and practice. You can learn how to analyze and understand culture and its influence. This program is offered to Westwood members through an exclusive licensing agreement with the Colson Center at the reduced cost of $600.  Learn more and register at gowestwood.org/colsonfellows.

Grief Share | New Sessions Begins | August 18 | Cost $20
Did you know that Westwood offers Grief Share classes for those that have suffered a loss of a loved one. Grief Share is a 13-week course that meets weekly every Tuesday, at 6PM, in SGB Room 16. This support group is a safe place to find support with resources that can help you find relief and stability.  There is a $20 charge for the workbook.   If you would like more details email [email protected].

Student DNOW Early Registration is Open | Cost: $125
DNOW (Disciple Now) is August 14-15.  The theme is EXCHANGE: Gaining through Giving Up. DNOW is open for students in grade 7-12. To register visit gowestwood.org/dnow26.  The last day to register is August 7.

Night of Worship & Prayer | July 22 | 6:15PM | Worship Center
Everyone is invited for a night of worship & prayer!  Garrett Romine is bringing in some of his friends to lead a night of worship and prayer for everyone, specifically for those that serve on Sunday mornings that may not get to attend a worship service.  There will be NO childcare for this event.
