Lottie Moon was a missionary to China who urged churches to give sacrificially to missions. You can give your Lottie Moon Offering online, gowestwood.org/giveonline,our Church App, or you can drop a check into the offering buckets (please include LMCO in the memo section of your check).

Socks for Shelby
One of the needs for homeless in the winter is socks.  Westwood is asking each family to donate 10 pairs of NEW socks to give to organizations that provide for many who are displaced in the winter and are in need of something warm to wear on their feet. Please leave your donations in the containers provided, located in the atrium!  Our goal is to collect 4000 pairs of socks!

Hot Chocolate & Sweet Treats
Join us at the Cafe before and after worship services to enjoy "Hot Chocolate and Sweet Treats!" We invite you to bring your favorite finger food type sweet treats to church Sunday, December 19, to share with others. You can bring your items to the cafe on Sunday morning when you arrive or you can bring it to the office Thursday, Dec. 16 (8AM-4:30PM) through Friday, December 17 (8AM-noon) and we will have it ready to serve on Dec. 19!  Please include a copy of your recipe to share with others.

Special Christmas Trees

Prayer Tree - The Prayer tree offers HOPE through prayer in December and provides a way for our Westwood family to come together in prayer this month. Share your prayer requests by hanging a prayer on the tree or simply pause and pray over those requst placed on the tree. Ornaments are provided by the tree for you to write your prayer request on and hang on the tree. Watch how the Holy Spirit overflows from the prayers into the hearts and lives of our families. The tree is located in the lower atrium near the Cafe.

Angel Touch Tree - The Angel Touch tree is for families who have suffered the death of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, death, ectopic pregnancy or abortion. We invite our families that have experienced the loss of a child to write the name of your child on the provided angel ornament and then hang on the tree.  The tree is located in the upper atrium near the top of the stairs.
