Last Sunday to Collect Food for Harvest House
We will be collecting food donations for our Harvest House the whole month of April. Please leave your donations in the designated area in the Atrium and Small Groups Building. Please NO GLASS jars. Things most needed are Jelly, spaghetti sauce, cereal, rice, instant potatoes, mac and cheese, and pasta.
Summer Camp for Students | Registration ends May 11 | Sign up today!
Students are going to Covenant College in Georgia to live on mission! Dates are May 30-June 3 and will be for students in grades 7-12. The cost is $425 with registration closing on May 11. Visit gowestwood.org/summercamp2026 to sign up.

Kids CAM Spring Showcase | May 3 | 5PM
Our Kids CAM will have their spring showcase on Sunday, May 3, at 5PM. Make plans to come and support our Creative Arts Ministry under the leadership of Shannon Owings. Our kids have worked very hard the last few weeks on perfecting their God given talents.
How to Lead Your Family Well Seminar | May 6 & 13 | 6:15PM
Pastor Ric Callahan will be leading a seminar on called “Leading your Family Well”. This will be a great class for parents of children of any age. This class will conclude our Impact Wednesday nights for the Summer!
National Day of Prayer | May 7 | 11AM-2PM
The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 7. We will have the worship center open for those that would like to come and pray for our church, city, state, and country.
Churchwide Date Night | May 9 | 5-8PM
We are asking the couples of our church to participate in a Church-wide Date Night! The date is Saturday, May 9 and is open to any couples in the church! The best part is we will keep the kids up to 6th grade for free. The only catch is you have an assignment to complete! Pick up your date assignment cards in preschool, children’s area or at the Welcome Desk. For childcare use the QR code to RSVP.
Senior Recognition | May 17 |10:45AM Service
We will be honoring our high school senior graduates on Sunday, May 17, in our 10:45AM Service. There are Bibles in the atrium for each student. Please stop by the table and write a word of encouragement or highlight your favorite Bible verse. Bibles will be available until May 10.
Rainforest VBS 2026 is coming fast! | June 8-12 | We need YOU!
If you would like to serve at VBS this year visit gowestwood.org/VBS for all the details. We also need people to help with teacher snacks to bless all our volunteers. You will be contacted by our snack coordinator after you sign up.
Registration is now open for kids that have completed 5k all the way to 6th grade. Register early and avoid the lines the week of VBS! You can register your child at gowestwood.org/vbs.
